Chicken Rotisserie Soup
Chicken Rotisserie Soup is an interactive web-based collage tool, built from product labels I collected from things I consumed over the course of two months. Together, the labels become a self-portrait—a record of my everyday consumption.
As a designer, I was interested in how much goes into the branding of objects that are often used briefly and immediately thrown away. By removing these labels from their original context and allowing users to fragment, layer, move, and recombine them, the website gives this discarded design a second life. What would normally become trash instead becomes an archive and a participatory design system.
